#092 | Why vendors should integrate with you, not force you to accomodate them
Show Notes

I have spent many years working with vendors of all shapes and sizes across my corporate career and running my own business. So I've seen the challenges around vendor management, particularly in projects, programmes and portfolios where we have to work with several different types.

Vendors can be very difficult to work with (although there are exceptions!), often using outdated systems and processes that take up time and energy from a team. That's why I wanted to talk about vendors on the podcast, and why they should be changing their approach to suit you the client, not the other way round!

In this episode I explore:

  • Why vendors should integrate with you, rather than you accommodating them
  • Signs to help you identify problem vendors
  • What I've seen in the businesses I've worked with over the years
  • Tips and tricks to better manage the vendor relationships
  • And much more...
